Conversation
Our first step may be the most important: We take the time to truly understand your personal health journey and experience.
Many people with chronic illness have felt dismissed or unheard. We see you, we believe you, and we genuinely care.
Before we begin, our expert providers will determine if TPE is right for you. This involves the assessment of routine labs; metabolic, hematologic, and oxidative stress; and, in some cases, environmental toxins including spike proteins.
Labs
For chronic illness and autoimmune conditions, we consider recommendations from the American Society for Apheresis (ASFA) and the Journal of Clinical Apheresis (JCA). Because each person is unique, we also use clinical judgment to guide treatment decisions. Depending on your symptoms, condition, and goals, your care plan may involve 3, 6, or more sessions to improve well-being and success.
TPE Sessions
Following your TPE sessions, we'll draw labs to assess and explore your updated baseline and to plan for optimized therapy. Most people return for at least two more TPE sessions.
Clinical Reassessment
Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE) is an FDA-backed procedure traditionally used in hospitals to treat acute, severe illness. Although not yet FDA-approved for outpatient clinic settings, recent research shows TPE can be effective tool for managing—and even reversing—certain autoimmune and age-related conditions.
If we don't think TPE is the right next step for you, we'll guide you to other options.
