Therapeutic Plasma Exchange
Stay sharp.
We're all aging; there's no doubt about that. But there's now an option to slow the aging process, including cognitive decline.
Research shows that cognitive vitality thrives when the brain is well-nourished by a healthy, supportive blood supply. When circulation delivers quality nutrients and is less burdened by autoantibodies, inflammatory cytokines, and environmental toxins, the brain is better suited to function for sustained healthspan.

Conversation
If you feel vulnerable about cognitive function, and if you're experiencing worrisome symptoms, we're here to listen and offer you a path forward.
Before we begin, our experienced practitioners will determine if TPE is safe for you. We'll assess routine and specialized labs to assess for brain-specific antibodies, toxins, and oxidative stress.
Labs
For people concerned about dementia or Alzheimer's disease, we recommend becoming familiar with the AMBAR study. In brief, therapy can range from 6 to 14 sessions, depending on the severity of the condition.
TPE Sessions
After your initial TPE sessions, we repeat previous labs to see how much has changed. If symptoms are improving, we recommend monthly sessions up to 12 total. We then explore re-treatment every 6 months depending on your response.
Clinical Reassessment
Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE) is an FDA-backed procedure traditionally used in hospitals to treat acute, severe illness. Although not yet FDA-approved for outpatient clinic settings, recent research shows TPE can be effective tool for managing—and even reversing—certain autoimmune and age-related conditions.
If we don't think TPE is the right next step for you, we'll guide you to other options.
